I am a content strategist and a writer with a master’s degree in communication theory. I have been working in communications and journalism for over a decade, and specifically in
public health communications for the last five years. Common threads throughout my career: cultural competency, social justice, and health equity.
In the COVID-19 Content Collection biweekly newsletter, I read, write, and curate COVID-19 content and distill the news for you with a zoomed-out overview of where we seem to be in the pandemic. My focus is on science and solutions, shedding light on disparities, and looking at the ways COVID-19 is affecting arts, culture, entertainment, and society. I aim to strike a balance between staying informed and staying hopeful—and strive to show that these are not always mutually exclusive.
I also write about the podcasts, books, movies, people, and projects that are helping me cope and keeping me grounded.
